Hall of Faith

As a continuation of last week’s exposition of verses often taken out of context, this episode reviews Hebrews chapter 11 in order to demonstrate the full meaning of the classic call to endurance in Hebrews 12:1-2. This installment of the podcast will review the concept of faith, detail the triumphs of the heroes of faith recorded in Hebrews 11, and demonstrate the incredible advantage we have as believers who have the full revelation of Jesus Christ. Finally, this episode properly explains what the author of Hebrews intended when they  called the followers of Christ to persevere through their daily life.

Verses We Don’t Highlight

In this episode we will be taking a look at the composition of a biblical epistle and the way by which Philippians differs from the traditional framework. Moving piece by piece, we will examine the presentation of Paul’s love of Jesus and how his view of the Lord sets the stage for the classic memory verse, Philippians 4:13. In the same way, we will be emphasizing the importance of verses 11&12, as they provide critical context for the way we should apply this truth.
